Two of my marker lights, passenger side do not come on.  New bulbs ok.  Garage say MH fauLT, MH say garage.  In a pickle.  Suggestion is, loose wire somewhere, or electrical fault.  Does anyone know where wiring is!  Manual says. A and B fuses? But doesn’t say where! Drivers side marker lights ok, two passenger side ok, two out?  Any help appreciated!

worried lady!

You used to own a 2012 IH Tio 630RL motorhome

If that's still the case, this image is a side-view of that model

and I assume the marker lights you have a problem with are the three orange lights I have arrowed in green.

I don't know off-hand how those lights are wired, but it might be helpful to know which of the lights are illuminating and which are not.

I understand these marker lights are a UK legal requirement for a vehicle with a length of 6.36 metres (eg. a Tio 630) and, consequently, will have been fitted by Fiat when the panel van was originally built.

If all three lights are protected by the same fuse and one of the three lights illuminates, logically that fuse is OK and the fault will lie in the wiring, possibly with a corroded connector.

Those lights are not fused because they are fed by the body computer.  If the computer detects a fault, including the wrong wattage of bulbs fitted it cuts the power supply.  So fuses would be superflous.

You need to ensure the bulbs you have fitted are the same wattage as the originals

Otherwise computer says No.

Again check back to the two that are not working , Checking all connections and that the lights themselves are not corroded and good bulb connection. Replacement of light units may be necessary if very badly corroded .  It's an easy fix for any good auto electrician or handyman/woman

You ignored the bit where the OP asked about fuses

I think a 2013 Ducato's side-marker light bulbs will use ordinary W5W 'wedge' type and, in her original posting, Shirley said "New bulbs ok" (that I take to mean new replacement  bulbs have been fitted but this had no effect).

I agree that an accurate diagnosis of the cause of this problem OUGHT to be straightforward - particularly as one of the marker-lights illuminates - but (realistically) neither Shirley nor her husband will be in a position to do this.

As Colin has suggested, using another garage (or involving a specialist auto-electrician) may be the best way forward.
