Mirror Guard length

Hello

 Just waiting for my Auto Trail Expedition 67 campervan to be delivered and am going to purchse MirrorGuard protectors but am baffled by the choice of the arm length short, medium or long. Can anyone advise me? Also the mirrors are black so was thinking of getting the matt black protectors but someone told me the white version stand out better. Any views.

A panel van conversion will almost certainly come with short arm mirrors. The attached picture shows the 3 available mirror sizes. Personally I wouldn't choose white mirror protectors if the van is painted white; I find them less visible as they tend to get lost in the white sides of the approaching vehicle. Mirror protectors in a contrasting colour seem to be the easiest to spot.

We've got black ones on our grey PVC. I must admit I didnt think about the "standing out" but more that white ones  would look really odd. I think black on a white van look better because there is probably bits of black on the van.
