| Spring has sprung (supposedly!), so we'd like to know where you're planning to visit next in the UK? And of course, why?! |
|
| Dunno ................we only spend a fortnight in the UK with our tugger friends............currently looking for somewhere in Cornwall, Devon or Wales, walking distance of a town or village.......for 16 quid a night ...........in July

| We tend only to do 2-3 day trips in the UK.
Since we've recently visted both Bletchley Park and Leeds Castle in cold weather, and since both tickets are in effect "12 month memberships," we'll certainly be going back to both of those in better weather to explore the outdoor aspects of each.
In the summer we're celebrating our Ruby wedding by spending a weekend on an excellent pub CS with some of our family (daughter & s-i-l have recently bought a campervan!).
Otherwise, who knows? Half the fun is making it up as we go along.
BtW Andrew, you'd better make this thread a "sticky" - or better still, "unstick" all the other 150,000 threads which force anything new onto page 2! |

| Porth beach is great it's on the beach and you can walk into Newquay , get a bus from the entrance to padstow or from Newquay to st Ives ,and Truro : but I can't remember how much it is per night I'm going again in June hopefully there might also be some sunshine: also there's a pub that does meals just over road : showers etc are spotless if you need them : |

| We were going to Italy and France, but unfortunately our two Burmese cats 18 and 19 years old are not very well so we are driving down from Glasgow 10th June and heading for Isle of Wight for 5 days to see friends and thereafter Devon, Cornwall and back up the east coast.. Bought membership in National Trust and English Heritage so looking forward to all attractions on the way and a bit better weather than up here in Scotland.

| Since we are still only planning on getting a caravan our plans are still quite unstable. However, we would really like to go to Portugal. I just love the country and my wife still has to see it for the first time. From north to south, Faro to the Algarve via Lisbon would be perfect :) |

| Land's End!
I have to shamefully admit that I have never been there before.
I am really curious to see the rough landscape and enjoy the view on the sea. Since our car is being repaired at the moment we needed to rent a car, but already booked one for the weekend, so the trip is safe. :)

Don't bother! It's nothing more than a glorified theme park and will cost you a small fortune!
Instead park up at Sennen Cove (a couple of miles North) and walk back along the coast path and experience the true Atlantic Coast.
