snail
Hi Colin, i have in my docs on laptop, aires, lidl, mcd, locations etc, downloaded from net for tom tom, but can't figure out how to load them. i know the card can't be loaded then put in tom, it has to be in tom formatted then loaded, some of the older models came up as a drive, so you could drag and drop, simples! snail
colin
So your own poi's then. Does your TT use tomtomhome or mytomtom?

Derek Uzzell
I'm not a TomTom user, but the instructions here http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13814/~/third-party-pois on how to download POIs using MyTomTom seem clear enough. (I'm not suggesting that there won't be problems, just that the instructions don't seem too difficult to follow.)
colin
The link Derek has added shows you what to do, the important bit is the 'box' that comes up in lower right of window that has 'add comunity content' button, this is what proboly threw you, it did me untill I searched out the answer. onecal
Hi,Should be no problem provided you are using the correct file extensions. You can also ,or should be able, if you click into Start and Computer to be able to see the extra drive (left hand bottom) ,after connecting the unit through Home/my TomTom, then you should be able to select the file extensions and drag and drop them.
