Dr Dave
Its always good to have a choice to choose from when the 'van insurance is due. I wonder does being the member of a recognised club qualify for a discount on the quoted premiums.
Derek Uzzell
I’m not sure what “SPONSORED” means in this thread’s heading, but AIB’s website is here https://www.aib-insurance.co.uk/
Dr Dave
Yes Derek its odd that if indeed AIB has contributed to the out and about website to be allowed to post in the forums it seems to be in direct competition with the 'main' paid for ads which appear at the side of the topics. Perhaps it is a new way of funding the site? Being within the forum probably has better coverage than the ads on the periphery. Dave
Keithl
Hi all, I have asked Daniel if this form of 'Sponsored' posting is allowed under forum rules. I will let him decide as he is the forum administrator. Keith.
Keith T
sounds to me like blatant advertising, which I always thought was NOT permitted.....where will it all end if its an open house for adverts!?
flicka
Circumvention of paying to put an advert in the magazine IMO The fact that they choose to advertise in the matter, leads to wonder if this is the modus operandi of their services level ? hagrid
I have been wondering for some time why anyone would take out insurance without knowing who the underwriter is going to be or being able to view the actual policy wording. But, it seems people do. *-)
Will86
I filled and sent a form but all I received was a standard reply to telephone them.so that's the end of that contact. I'm not wasting phone money on phone calls if they cannot offer a decent reply in return to an advert.
Randonneur
Must say that we had no problem at all, filled in the online bit for a quote and they rang us back with a very good quote.
