We are travelling north from Hook of Holland, ferry arrives about 17.15, we are looking for somewhere to overnight around Leiden preferably an Aire or equivalent in Holland.

Haven't used it myself but there is an aire near Abbenes a few kms past Leiden - €12 p/n...

It's slightly nearer Hook of Holland than Leiden but very convenient for the ferry.

We had a breakdown earlier this spring in Alphen a/d Rijjn, about 40 mins from the Hoek - that's another story for another time but the garage that fixed our M/H were superb and since time was getting on they suggested we stay at Minicamping Polderflora, Rietveldsepad 10 minutes away

 

If you put that in to Google it'll show you all you need to know.

 

The site was a small and very friendly sort of mini working farm with sheep/lambs, pigs, goats, chickens and a couple of donkeys etc all wandering around and it was a really very pleasant place to stay. There's a lake for fishing, easy cycle ride into Alphen and all in all a jolly good stop over. I think we paid 11euros with lekky

Hi

Last year we went to Scheveningen beach nr Den Hague and there would have been overnight parking in this car park 52.100428, 4.262025. When we were there, there was a concert on so it was closed but otherwise it would have been a great place to park. Right on the beach.
