Hockeyplayer
We have just purchased our second campervan and wish to fill it by hose rather than the pump and roll along tank, I have searched forums and sites but I am coming up blank, any ideas would be grateful. Our inlet has a large blue cap that when unscrewed has a filter in and down below that has two small inlets, one for a shower and one for the pump

Keithl
Unfortunately you are not the first to ask! Here is a very similar post from ten years ago... http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Autocruise-water-tank-filling/6442/ Keith. Geeco
I had our Autotrail fitted with a mains water supply fitting. It connects down stream from the onboard pump. The pump has a non return valve so no problems. We always connect to the water tap supplied at each powered site in most caravan parks. We keep the water in our onboard tank for when we are free camping ( read wild in UK). Our standard car licence is good for 4450kgs so no issue to drive around with 100kgs odd of spare water onboard. Maybe the OP could consider a mains pressure connector like I had fitted.
