Any advice on both these please anyone?

A) What are the key things you'd look out for on a Ducato panel van that's done 150K in 5 years?

B) Is there a reliable company (this is near London) that does vehicle checks that would find those and other probs? AA any good?

Thanks

The AA will only inspect the mechanical side of the MH and not the conversion.

The MCEA https://www.mobilecaravanengineers.co.uk/?page_id=9 has engineers around the country who I believe will check all aspects.

As this has done 150k miles would I be right in guessing it was either ex-rental or a recently converted used van or something like? Normally MH's rarely do more than 10k miles in a year with many only doing 2 - 3k.

Panel vans tend to get a lot more use than cars.

If you are buying a 5 year old panel van, you would have to be lucky to find one that hasn't been well used

Thats why they tend to depreciate much faster than motorhomes

Some of those on the Ducato forum have well over 400,000 miles
