Not on the profit your offshore dosh is making whilst its in Eire *-) ............

You're wrong again. I pay dividend tax and Capital Gains Tax just the same as if it was all invested in the UK. Unlike your 'newspaper' owners domiciled in Her Majesty's Tax Havens.

pelmetman - 2018-11-02 1:43 PM

Yet you continue to slag off the rich for doing the same thing :-| ..........

That's called hypocrisy! >:-) ......

You still don't want to understand it do you?

Itsd not the same thing because I am domiciled in UK paying UK Tax, whilst they are not because they are domiciled in Her Majesty's Tax Havens.

Yes I have put my money abroad - But I am not saying Brexit is Good for Britain whilst doing so!!!!

I'm saying Brexit is bad for Britain whilst putting my money abroad.

Whats hypocritical about that?

But Brexit hasn't happened yet ??? ... Hypocrite

UK has become a divided nation and not just over Brexit either as it was happening long before. The poverty gap between wealthy and the less well off has increasingly become a chasm and i'm not comparing the extremes of the 'super rich' with unemployed either.

Exactly.

Its not just unfair, its bad for the economy when talented people are held back by not being able to afford a good education, somewhere quiet to study etc.

Government intervention in the housing market to force up prices has made it even worse

If only the mass media focused on that, instead of diverting the blame to immigrants and the EU - same old Tory Divide and Rule , >:-)

Probably because you knew I'd check your link, and then independently fact-check your claim, and then, having found that your "fact" to be fake - brush it off! What else can one do with fake facts? :-D

Just like you do in Britain.......because you live here........If you don't like it, you could always move to Eire? ..........and keep your money company >:-) ..........

BTW .......are you saying your not benefiting financially by keeping your money abroad? :-| ........If that's the case, then it kinda begs the question why move it abroad???? :D ...........

Still can't see your 'logic' in thinking that makes me a hypocrite

The pound fell in antipation of Brexit making my investments worth more when measured in pounds..

If Brexit is suddenly called off no doubt they will fall when measured in pounds.

But that would be an easy pill to swallow.

Here's another fake "fact" to brush off ;-) .........

Overall, the main findings can be summarized as follows:

· Germany holds the most top-ranked cabinet, DG, and parliamentary chair positions with 15.4% of appointments, as well as the most coordinator (20%) and executive positions (12%) in the parliamentary groups.

· The UK held the highest percentage (17%) of top cabinet, DG and parliamentary chair positions in 1999 and now trails behind Germany with 11.4% of positions. The UK also has the second highest percentage of coordinator and executive positions in the parliamentary groups at 14%, while accounting for only 9.7% of MEPs.

Says the hypocrite who runs off to Spain for most of the year to avoid Brexit Blighted prices *-)

So says the hypocrite who buys his fags abroad to avoid paying UK taxes >:-) ........

EU products are already taxed dummy and as we are still an EU country it's not 'avoiding tax' and people are legally allowed to bring back what they like as long as it's for personal use only. That's not hypocritical at all but what certainly is is someone who votes to drag UK out of the EU, but then promptly runs off to spend half the year IN Spain. That's blatant hypocrisy no matter how you attempt to excuse it you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

Pound has fallen because investors believe Brexit will be bad for Britain.

Which is a very good reason for calling it off.

But none of that explains why you think I'm a Hypocrite (?)

I'm paying more taxes through investing abroad - because if I had invested in Britain I wouldn't have made any capital gains to pay tax on

At least I'm not avoiding my taxes, and not doing anything to force up house prices. So why does it make me a hypocrite to complain about those who are?
