It was sickening enough for the Windrush generation.

But now a staggering 3.5 million people face being purged from the country they've called home for decades - paying taxes, building lives, being model citizens.

"Great?"

This is Barbaric Britain

May's "hostile environment" she proudly created. What a legacy. :-|

Obviously not hostile enough for foreign born child rapists, criminals or terrorists *-) ........

Year ending 2018 627,000 people moved to the UK (immigration) and 345,000 people left the UK (emigration) according to ONS. Using the same source or Gov stat site, show me the figure for your narrative. You're always banging on about them so it shouldn't take you more than five minutes.

Oh your still quoting the ONS (lol) (lol) (lol) ..........

Well they've already admitted their maths was sh*te *-) ......

It’s written in your passport.

Indeed https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/aug/30/french-chef-richard-bertinet-settled-status-uk

He's not a British citizen - yet.

I agree that he should stay but once again we have public sector employees screwing up and affecting people's lives.

I've no doubt that our first class home secretary, herself a symbol of Britain's decency in welcoming people from all over the world, will soon correct the sloppy work of these jobsworths.

Hopefully those "jobsworths" don't take Patels sloppy work as an example then.....as she couldn't even spell the name of an applicant right. *-)

Ever likely the HO is in a mess if that's your idea of "first class".

Oh how awful! An incredibly busy woman spelled someone's name wrongly.

I bet she knows the difference between its and it's though, unlike some semi-literate clowns I could mention.

However, just mentioning that shows that all you have is trivia.

The biggest problem is jobsworth public sector employees not performing properly. Cushy jobs, fat pensions and almost impossible to sack.

When she as HS can't even spell his name right, then don't expect those you disparagingly call "jobsworths" to get it right. I've noticed your contempt for 'cogs in the wheel' without which the 'wheels' quickly stop turning. When you're on your back in a hospital bed facing possible death, your disdain for those you consider lesser mortals will come back to haunt you.

As I said, all you have is trivia. Did spelling a name wrong have catastrophic results for Windrush victims, let down by public sector efficiency or for Universal Credit applicants similarly let down by heartless clowns who couldn't do their jobs properly?

Trivia to you but not the person whose future hangs in the balance.

When I'm in hospital, whatever state I'm in, I pray it will be a well run private one and not the ghastly, money wasting and inefficient nationalised NHS, where the chances are I'll get MRSA or they'll forget to feed me and I'll starve to death.

I hope so to as i don't want the likes of you cluttering up my NHS which 27 years ago saved my life just as it did my cousin whose husband rapidly whisked his wife out of private healthcare when it became clear they were abusing the NHS wrongly attempting to extract thousands from his insurance when his wifes life saving operation had been carried out under NHS healthcare by NHS surgeons, not private.

I gave you a choice of searching figures for your claim of "foreign born child rapists, criminals or terrorists" via UK Gov stats if you look back to the post i made over two hours ago. As it's a subject narrative you're forever banging on about i assumed, wrongly as it turns out, you'd have the figures within a matter of minutes but over two hours later and still you can't come up with anything.

In short.......you don't have a feckin clue. And no i don't want any xenophobic tripe off biased right wing rag sources you favour hence the reason i gave you the option of uk.gov source.

The biggest problem is jobsworth public sector employees not performing properly. Cushy jobs, fat pensions and almost impossible to sack.

There are still some good public sector employees.

Bojo is sacking them and having them escorted out off the premises by armed police

(which disproves your assertion they are 'almost impossible to sack')

Don't you understand English? Try thinking a bit more deeply about what 'almost' means.

Show me where I said that there aren't any good public sector employees.

All police in Number 10 are armed. Do you think that Dominic should have requested an unarmed bobby from the nearest police station so that this poor woman wouldn't be frightened? This woman that is, who has been in and out of Downing St with its armed officers many times.

I'm just curious though, how many of Boris's 99 close protection officers were hanging around? It must be very crowded in there.

Oh God. Thick Barry strikes again.

Concentrate. Why would policemen be inside Number 10? Typists maybe, cooks or cleaners?

Or perhaps close - protection officers?

How are we doing so far?

Now, what do close-protection officers do and how do they do it?

If you can't work out that they won't be guarding the PM using truncheons, get back to me.

That seems a little hasty, as from the linked article it seems some of the applicants had, albeit inadvertently, applied for pre-settled status and not settled status.

There is a duty on the applicant to read the application form (electronic or otherwise) before completing it, as well as on the junior clerk who will initially process it. You will note that the HO spokespersons said that the applicants had been granted the status for which they had, actually, applied, even where it was not what the applicants had meant to apply for.

You will also note that Bertinet said he was "99% sure" he'd applied for settled, and not pre-settled" status, so he hadn't had the sense to make, and keep, a copy of his own application - which leaves him somewhat adrift at his own hand when complaining, don't you think?

Just WTF has folk emigrating got to do with the UK being forced to allow EU criminals to stay in the UK???? *-) ..........

Because context and perspective is important and that's nearly always lacking in your wild unsubstantiated claims. From the 627,000 who had migrated into UK......what is the figure/number/amount of "child rapists, criminals or terrorists"? It was a very simple question and the only reason i can think you've found it such a struggle to answer is 1) you don't know, and 2) you'd prefer not to know (or say) as the actual figure is undoubtedly miniscule which would spoil your narrative.

I wrote; May's "hostile environment" she proudly created. What a legacy.

To which you replied; Obviously not hostile enough for foreign born child rapists, criminals or terrorists

i then posted the immigration figure for 2018 and asked you the following question; Using the same source or Gov stat site, show me the figure for your narrative. You're always banging on about them (foreign rapists, criminals etc) so it shouldn't take you more than five minutes.

That was over 16 hours ago now and you still haven't been able to come up with a figure.

I had a look at the HO online application Brian to try and get some idea of it's ease or complexity of use. Without figuring a fictitious name/address and passport detail i couldn't go beyond that part so not sure if when fully completed, it gives a total breakdown of detail you could print out to keep copy.

What was interesting though is for some reason applicants have a time limit of just 25 mins to complete the application so once accessed, the clock is ticking. That seems a bit crazy when what you're filling in is going to affect your future. An unnecessary pressure leading to easily made mistakes.

Seeing as the prison service nor the justice system compile separate figures for EU/migrant sex offenders, we can only make assumptions from what we read in the press :-| ...........

It's pretty bleedin obvious that folk from Asia who follow a certain religion have a taste for "Easy White Meat" *-) ........

But we "do" know the vast majority of terrorists also follow that certain religion are either migrants or their next generation 8-) ..........

On another thread i notice you claim "tens of thousands of victims" but as usual offer no credible linked source. Over what period....one year, five years, ten years? Now you're saying you can only "make assumptions" [from what you read in press]. So you read a case of a criminal from an EU/non-EU country from your favoured source, the Brexpress, and "assume" all are. You've now gone on in your latest post to brand Muslims as "child rapists, criminals or terrorists" which really was your main demographic after all wasn't it? That along with your hatred of the EU is your narrative and quite why you spend so much time staying in an EU country is beyond me due to your racism and xenophobia.

Can you not see how making such wild speculative and sweeping generalisations is not only ludicrous, it's also wrong on so many levels? You continually make these assumptions.

Less than 5% of the total prison population, many of whom won't even fall into your chosen categories, but you moan, whinge and whine when they aren't locked up, and moan, whinge and whine when they are. *-)

And with your craziness over wanting 'no deal' which nobody voted for, including Brexiters, you're set to make life a whole lot easier for the criminals you rail against as this police commissioner points out. But what do the police know eh? *-)

I expect you are correct Bullet but to me this is just another instance of centralisation by the EU. A useful tool in making member states dependant on one source. Bit by bit they are developing a Federal State. It can be plainly seen in the case of Brexit. They have deliberately made extremely hard to break the ties ... and it is no coincidence.

Police Forces across Europe cooperated long before the EU and if we are barred from full Police databases then it is a petty act by the EU. You yourself have said there are plenty of British criminals in Europe, therefore it would be better for European Police to be able to access the database of Brit crims quickly. It's a two way street.

We will retain access to Interpol but lose Europol which worked for all member states. https://www.europol.europa.eu/faq/europol%E2%80%A6-interpol%E2%80%A6-what%E2%80%99s-difference

If you stop paying your membership fee you can't expect any of the benefits yet for some odd reason some Brits feel we are entitled. Doesn't work like that. And as Johnson himself admitted; the membership fee seems rather small for all that access.
