John52
TheFrenchConnection - 2020-01-14 10:09 PM this may have been the reason for premature dual mass flywheel failure on my diesel Duster--apparently DMFs don't like the torque reversal. Only thing I know about the Dacia Duster is it came out worst in the 'Which' Consumer Association survey I read. My X2/50 has a DMF and appears to suffer no ill-effects from using the engine for braking. Main danger with them seems to be their reduced mass means they heat up quicker when you are slipping the clutch.
