Ninian
What difference does it make if your battery has a good voltage but little AH's. My batteries sit at around 13.6v but the AH's just dwindle away seemingly for no reason. ????????
Keithl
In a word, it's way past its sell by date! The 13.6 V you have measured is an 'on charge' voltage so is the MH on EHU or do you have Solar panels? Imagine the battery as a water tank, it has a defined starting volume but every time you fill it a handful of pebbles get thrown in with the water. Eventually you realise that the tank has nowhere near the capacity it used to have, That is exactly what has happened to your battery. Get a good quality battery and not a 'generic' leisure battery. The late Allan Evans had very good advice on his website... http://www.aandncaravanservices.co.uk/battery-technology.php Keith.

Ninian
Hi, Thanks for the replies, I'm thinking of replacing them with the Yuasa L36 - EFB batteries BUT has anyone bought the Yuasa apparently re-branded Halfords HLB - 700. Yuasa batteries are not sold in N. Ireland. ???????
Keithl
Can you find anyone with a Halford's Trade Card? It will get you around a 20% saving if you can! Keith.
Derek Uzzell
Ninian You might want to wade your way through this January 2020 forum thread that discussed Yuasa EFB batteries https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Gel-lead-or-lead-accid-batteries/53316/
