Over £35 billion paid out so far. Government is admitting up to 10% fraud.

Apparently benefits (not furlough) intended to help small businesses, some unscrupulous people have used it to fund their own personal lifestyles with leisure toys. *-)

So folk buying stuff made by Brits with governments LOANS is not helping British businesses? ;-) .........

If the purchases are for the benefit of keeping the company running but i fail to see how a caravan or e-bikes qualifies for that. Incidentally since when has the origin of manufacture of any goods ever been a concern to you? You had no issue with the Brexit Blunderbus built in GERMANY and POLAND, You really are the worlds worst hypocrite!! *-)

The bus you Losers keep on harking on about wasn't bought ;-) ........

It was hired :D .......

You really are thick as sh*te 8-) .........

I never said it was bought......dummy. The fact it was used at all is an utter disgrace when UK has THREE coach manufacturers, you lot should hang your heads in shame....HYPOCRITES,

Obviously you have never hired a vehicle *-) .........

You get what's available Dumbnuts >:-) .........

Stop making EXCUSES for your Brexit HYPOCRISY.

It's not an excuse though is it Dumb Dumb ;-) ........

Of course it is. When you lot aren't U-turning you're making EXCUSES because you're a bunch of HYPOCRITES. You've never accepted responsibility or accountability for all the cock-ups you lot keep making and always blame others.

I only asked whether Dishy Rishi should be throwing our money at Betting shops.

Most are owned by well capitalised chains that don't need our money, so can stay in bushiness without it.

But even if a few betting shops close - does it matter?

He didn't throw money at betting shops *-) .........

He threw money at those who were in WORK ;-) .......

No doubt some went to crooks......those crooks that you like to defend *-) ......

Why don't you read the posts you quote?

Then you would see I had told you who - in the same sentence

"ministers took the decision to launch it knowing that those responsible for delivering it couldn’t guarantee the normal level of control.”

"I worked every day" "didn't even know I'd been furloughed"

won't even know how many companies receiving our money ever existed - until its time to pay it back

So the UK is recovering quicker than expected according to your link

Which says something about their confidence in BoJo

Because UK is already the worst in Europe

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-08-12/u-k-has-worst-economic-slump-in-europe-with-20-4-contraction

So how much worse did they expect BoJo to be?

Given that we are one of the G7 economies, then its pretty bleedin obvious that our slump will be big coz our economy is big ;-) ..........

BTW we are are already out off recession B-) ..........

UK GDP grew by 6.6% in July 2020

Oh dear *-)

change is expressed as a percentage so the size of the economy makes no difference

Of course GDP rose when businesses reopened after the lockdown

Even so, we are still the worst in Europe

Which your link says is better than expected

So how much worse than the worst in Europe did thy expect BoJo to be?
