Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the 12v in the living area of there motorhome , we got back to are van last night and the control panel did not work so we could not turn any thing on. No fridge, heating ,lights, no water pump but the 240v sockets still worked, are van is a Burstner and has a ELEKROBLOCK EBL99 fuse panel control box and all the fuses are ok and it has power getting to it. The van has solar panels so the batterys have a good charge, so if anyone can help it would be appreciated thanks Pat.                                                                                                                                                                    It was -2 degrees last night not much fun in the dark with no water or heat,

  • Keithl changed the title to Burstner 12v power source not working

Have you checked for extra fuses that there may be at the positive terminals of both the leisure and starter batteries ?

for other  causes of the fault have a look at www.apuljackelectronics.co.uk , catalogue section , showing Schaudt EBL units and their possible problems .

The only thing I can think of that is not a failure, but would knock off all the 12v supply, and disable the control panel is the small "Battery Isolator" switch on the face of the EBL99, to the left of the fuse bank.

It's a long shot, but it is worth a check.

If it is off (it's worthwhile toggling it anyway even if it isn't) setting it back on will have no effect until the Control Panel is subsequently switched on.
