Kettle or Saucepan

An open saucepan can increase the amount of condensation in a Motorhome.

One with a sealed lid shouldn't be worse than a Kettle, but obviously if it boils for some time after 'being ready for Tea' then condensation may be increased?

One advantage of the whistling kettle is that it isn't 'steaming' longer than it needs.

Depends on whether condensation is an issue for you, it is for us in Winter.

Our kettle (40 y.o. this year) hasn't got a whistle, but as above much easier to pour accurately, as gf likes her hot water bottle this is an important point.

p.s. we rarely use EHU so never carry an electric kettle, we did once hire a van that only had an electric kettle, filling the hot water bottle required a very steady hand. Next time we hired a van made sure it had a hob kettle.
