I thought I had this problem on a different van but reading the link it was the same van so I now know where it is and need to find the receipt for it and get it replaced. thank you once again for the info. rooster63 Posted October 10, 2017 Share Posted October 10, 2017 I have had the same problem and tried unclipping the connector to the resistor, cleaning the contacts, wiggling it etc but to no avail (this worked once before and the fan had been OK for about a year). Had decided to remove the resistor and buy a new one but couldn't get the right size socket to fit the fixing bolts, tried metric and imperial. I then did some more research and someone suggested re-connecting the connector whilst the ignition is on and the switch is also on 1,2 or 3. There was a bit of buzzing and then lo and behold it worked. Fingers crossed that was 3 weeks ago and all good. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
