I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning, but (as it says on the following link and on the file attached below) an MOT-test certificate’s 6-months extension won’t be recognisable until 7 days before the original test certficate’s expiry date.

It ends on the 31st of July. Any car,van or motorcycle who's MOT is due to expire between now and that date will still get a 6 month extension. Extensions already granted will continue to their original expiry dates, or the date on which the vehicle fails a test if sooner.
