onecal
Hi all Just a question , if more European countries now want to adopt safety stickers of their own (as Spain is proposing, see attached ) without having just one harmonised for Europe . Will their be room for them all on a Motorhomes over 3.5t ?

onecal
Hi all Is this going to be the new international accepted E.U. blind spot sticker. Does anyone know? Regards
Keithl
These would be far more effective if they were mounted flat on the handlebars of ALL cycles so the cyclist saw them every time they looked down and not just when they were to trying to squeeze alongside a huge lorry or coach! And does a mis-spelling of 'TOTER WINKEL' apply to such cyclists?
onecal
Hi Keithl I have no idea , I would say some of those lettering would be changed with a black sharpie marker lol But the information coming back from members abroad is there should be one blind spot sticker and not this nonsense of a different one for every country , as Spain proposed lately What does others think here? Derek Uzzell
Fuller details of Spain's proposal can be read here https://trans.info/spain-follows-france-in-introducing-blind-spot-stickers-for-lorries-257580 and it appears that UK-registered vehicles designated as "motor caravans" would not be affected. Unless a 'blind-spot' warning pictogram could be designed where its meaning is visually obvious without any explanatory text being necessary, it's hard to see how a genuinely universal sign would be a practical proposition. The French/German/English 'international' sign is discussed here https://www.witte-technology.com/en/new-international-blind-spot-stickers/ but what about Italian, Portuguese, etc? And, if the Ukraine/Russia/NATO situation really comes to the boil, perhaps there will need to be a pan-European sign like this
