Steve928 Posted April 26 Share Posted April 26 (edited) 11 hours ago, fawlks said: Hi I have a fault on the speed sensor where on the engine/gearbox is it had it in the local garage they can't find Vehicle speed (presuming that's what you're concerned with) sensing is a function of the ABS module using the 4x wheel speed sensors, with the result being sent to the Body Control Module over the HS-CAN bus and onwards to the instrument panel over LS-CAN. There is no physical speed sensor on the (MLGU6) gearbox. The individual wheel speeds can be read at the ABS module and the calculated vehicle speed can be read at both the BCM and the dash module (with suitable diagnostics e.g. Diagbox).
