witzend
Your car, van or motorcycle’s MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due between 30 March 2020 and 31 July 2020. https://tinyurl.com/tg6h2ae
John52
Unless I'm missing something here? MOT stations are going to find their work concentrated into 6 months of the year Northern Ireland gave a one year extension avoiding this problem You can check your MOT date here; https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history Mine is entitled to an extension but not showing any extension ... I read somewhere the extension won't be added until its nearly run out
Derek Uzzell
It’s mentioned in the link witzend has provided "How the 6-month extension works Your vehicle’s MOT expiry date will be automatically extended by 6 months if it’s eligible. This will be done about 7 days before it’s due to expire."

Keithl
darcywick - 2020-07-01 4:48 PM My van was registered 27 July 2017 but tax from 1 Aug 2017, what will happen to my MOT Look on https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ for the current expiry date and if on or before 31st July you will get an extension. My car was due in May and got extended to November but only three days before it was actually due to expire. Keith.
