Bulletguy
thebishbus - 2021-02-26 8:00 AM Can someone tell me if this 135,000 deaths is on top of the normal expected 530,000 ish in the last 12 months.?. Brian B. The 135,613 is deaths recorded with Covid-19 on the death certificate. The figure is updated every weekday at 4pm so the one currently displayed will change again after 4pm today. https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths To put this into perspective UK has suffered more Covid deaths in LESS than one year than the 67,200 civilian fatalities in six years of war. Actually I think if you look at the figures half of the deaths have been in the last two months so we have lost more people in just two months than six years of war. I haven't looked at any monthly charts, i've simply quoted the current total but when you see the figure of civilians killed through six years of bombing, it drives home the shocking indictment the hapless mismanagement of Covid in UK has been. Looking for the first Covid casualty I found it was an 84 year old man who died 30th January 2020......but the true cause of death was not known until seven months later which came about from his daughter asking the Coroner to look again at samples they had. There will be many more cases like Mr Attwood where Covid was the killer, but won't be recorded as the cause of death. https://tinyurl.com/26kr6kyz

Brian B. Morinin' This item (from early Jan) explains things a little. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55631693 ..and it puts the excess death figure at 85,000 (up to last Nov) Remember when it was first voiced that we may hit 20,000 deaths, and everyone was shocked?... :-S Slight update on the above- It appears from the following link that some are now putting the excess death figure at over 100,000 ? https://www.theactuary.com/2021/02/17/uks-excess-deaths-pass-100000 Although, as the government (us) funded BBC is dimissed by some as being a bunch of spinning "lefties" - The likes of the Institue and Faculty of Actuaries will probably just be written off as a bunch of lazy, university educated communists..?? (Oops! sorry, I forgot to add the seemingly obligatory assortment of - :D :D :D :D (lol) (lol) (lol) >:-) >:-) >:-) ;-) ) From your link ;-) .......... "It's latest update also shows that there 5,526 more deaths in England and Wales between 30 January and 5 February 2021 (week five) than during the corresponding week of 2019, down from the 6,324 'excess' deaths recorded over the previous seven days." Nit picking when people died in a Pandemic is a perfect example of how NASTY you and and your fellow LOSERS have become *-) ........ Carry on supping from your swamp of Hate Popup ;-) ....... Coz I don't give a sh*t :D .......

Yes quarantine from specific countries only took 59 days after the discovery of the SA variant and 44 days after the discovery of the Brazilian one.
