Nikko
When emptying out the 'garage' for the habitation service I found the elastic ring with nice rounded hook shown in the photo (with a ruler to show its size). I've now no idea what it belongs to. Can anyone advise?
Geeco
It looks like a "thing a magig" or a wats a macall it"! Could it be a strap for a suitcase spring loaded weight scale? Cheers
mtravel
1. Being elastic I would exclude a scale. 2. hp ? Having worked for them for almost twenty years, the logo alone brings back bad memories.
laimeduck
I use a similar thing to secure my EHU cable after I've coiled it? Attattch hook to bungee after passing round the cable loops. Jeremy
John52
I'd guess its for the eHU cable too When you buy them they are usually called ball ties, or tarpaulin ties. I use them for stays on the windows at home Just fix a bracket with self tappers near the handle...
Geeco
Thanks m travel for identifying my lack of logic re elastic/scales. Seems like the others nailed it as a tie down strap. We have escaped the cold of the southern winter and are relaxing on the beach in the north of Queensland, maybe my brain is too relaxed. Nikko
Thanks, I'll give it try on the EHU cable.
Ben Emar
Just bought some new storm straps for the awning and 2 of these came in the box, I think they are meant to be a 'shock absorber' for the straps. Check on Dometic straps on most accessory sites.
