And here is the wiring diagram for the 5 stud sensor arrangement https://sargent.zohodesk.eu/portal/en/kb/articles/ec155
-
Does your fresh water level display show Empty, 25%, 50%, 75% and Full?
If so it needs a 5 wire harness as shown on the Sargent Electrical website https://sargentltd.co.uk/shop/product/ec155-fresh-water-harness/342
And here are the 5 studs to go with the harness https://sargentltd.co.uk/shop/product/ec51-fresh-water-studs-and-screws/136
I'm guessing your tank is insulated so you need to find the remaining sensors and clean them.

Is it the standard VW mirror?
If so then try a VW van dealer or maybe look on Ebay or the like for a pattern replacement.

Hi, I am looking for the same type of lock, but cant find any seller. Elvis the fish, where did you buy a replacement?
Unfortunately I do not think you will get a reply from @Elvis the fish as he hasn't logged on since last July!
Perhaps another forum member can help?

Your Cherokee was manufactured by Auto-Trail if that helps your search!
Try O'Learys or Magnum motorhomes.

As has been pointed out the MOT history check won't reveal engine size but I wouldn't worry about that either.
Yes, but the Gov.uk website https://www.gov.uk/get-vehicle-information-from-dvla will give you the engine size, eg my AT is...

Give us a clue, what is the make and age of the van?

Hi Tonk,
The https://www.gov.uk/get-vehicle-information-from-dvla website will get you a lot more info on any prospective vehicle.

I have a Fiamma SuperFlow SF126 PRO that is leaking from the bottom when the pump is turned on. Has anyone experienced this before? I've not been able to find any other similar issues like this and wondering if there's any chance of fixing it or if I just need to replace it outright.
Has the leak only appeared after being stored for the winter? If yes then it is most likely frost damage from not being 100% drained down. I split a Shurflo pump many years ago by assuming that draining the pipes would drain the pump, but it obviously did not! I now disconnect the outlet from the pump and run it for 2 or 3 seconds to blow out any water remaining in the valve chambers.

Well I've just renewed our MH insurance and the premium had only gone up 5% so to me that is about right for inflation. Insured with AXA through the C&MC scheme.

The Merc 208d will only be 80 Horse Power so will not be the fastest thing on the road, in fact it will be quite pedestrian and barely able to keep up with modern traffic on fast roads. Our 2004 Merc Autotrail is 130 HP and still is on the slow side of things.
As for the Autotrail side of things, everything depends on how it has been cared for over the years. If it has had water ingress and damp then it may or may not have been repaired properly so make sure you get it inspected by someone who knows what they are looking at or be prepared for plenty of DIY. Also the appliances fitted, if still original, will almost certainly be obsolete so be prepared for problems if they go wrong.

Fuel receipts, shopping receipts, photos on your phone, etc, etc. Even your humble Sat Nav is probably logging your route, I know my Garmin does!
There are so many ways to track your travels these days 🙂

Hi Trevor and welcome to the forum,
But unfortunately I doubt you will get any meaningful discussion here as the Caravan forums are very rarely, if ever, used these days. In fact the last request for any kind of help was posted on the first of December last year and was from a new forum member in New Zealand and he never got any replies to his request for help.
You may get better help from one of the big clubs forums or possibly an owners club specific to either of the makes.

Are you trying to access the website on a PC or laptop or an app on a mobile device?
I can access the website on my Macbook without any problems.

No, @veletron has not been back since her posting two hours before yours so give her time.

My suggestion would be to get in touch with Nick Fisher, the MMM technical guru, as he used to run a fleet of Ducato hire vans. mmmtech@warnersgroup.co.uk

I've a DAB radio in my van but can hardly ever get a station and if I do after a while driving I lose it so stick with normal stations.
Have you tried a better aerial then Steve?
We have DAB radios in our MH and both daily cars and all get near perfect reception no matter where we are.
I fitted the Sony unit in the MH a couple of years ago and used a Halfords mag mount aerial (similar to this https://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/stereo-fittings/autoleads-magnetic-dab-antenna-575883.html) laid across under the dash so not visible, and it works great. Maybe try plugging in an external aerial and play with location?

You can buy a cage to fit a standard double DIN radio into the Peugeot Boxer dash https://www.raysmith.co.uk/products/fiat-ducato-citroen-relay-peugeot-boxer-2012-double-din-fascia-cage-kit-gloss-black?_pos=2&_sid=e3e479216&_ss=r then your choice of head unit is vast!
-
More importantly then the make of MH what is the base vehicle as this will determine what radio will fit the dash?

How did the mechanic ascertain the 'wrong oil' had been put in? Unless he had it analysed I don't see how he could have known!
Or had the owner filled the engine with something like DEF by mistake???
