  1. BAD MOVE! You should ALWAYS have the tyres with the best grip on the rear wheels otherwise you risk getting into an oversteer condition when cornering and will almost certainly ending up facing where you have come from! It is far easier to control an understeer than an oversteer condition. Here is a good explanation https://www.edentyres.com/should-i-fit-new-tyres-to-the-front-or-rear/
  2. O'Learys did have a smaller screen but it is now marked as Sold out, maybe worth a call? https://www.olearymotorhomes.co.uk/obserview-reverse-camera-screen-monitor-cm-560-5754-p.asp
  3. Sargent Electrical are showing ONE in stock https://sargentltd.co.uk/shop/product/Monitor/319
  4. What model and year is your MH and what electrical system is fitted?
  5. I'll edit the title for you. Assume it is still a 2002?
  6. What is the voltage of the battery both with and without the engine running and charger turned on?
  7. It has most likely stored a code in the ECM so you will need to get it scanned to find out the reason.
  8. From the Sargent Electrical Knowledge Base https://sargent.zohodesk.eu/portal/en/kb/articles/em40-fiat-interface-unit it looks like the EM40 sends the Lock/Unlock commands to the PSU and not directly to the door...
  9. Could they be threaded studs with a plastic sleeve slid over them? And time to update your signature 😁
  10. But Tringy did say he wanted to remove and refit the skylight so I think he would be using more than a 'very thin bead' around the skylight?
  11. All very well as long as you never want to remove it again! My preference would be a caravan specific sealant and NOT an adhesive, eg Hodgson SeamSeal CV. Keith.
  12. Hi AL, We have been to Northumberland many times and amongst our favourite places are (in no particular order)... Craster - A beautiful small village and harbour with a lifeboat station and The Jolly Fisherman which serves excellent food. Parking is at the edge of the village and only a short walk away. You can also walk to Dunstanborough Castle (NT) from here. Seahouses - Only good for fuel and driving through, unless you want sand castle buckets and 'Kiss me quick' hats! Holy Island - A must see location but check tide times for the causeway! Lindisfarne castle (NT) is well worth a visit. Bamburgh - A lovely village with the castle and lots of traditional shops. Car park at South of village was free last time we were there. Chillingham Castle - Not a coastal location but an absolute must see destination! Alnwick - A short drive inland but the castle and gardens are absolutely worth a visit. Cragside (NT) - The birthplace of hydro electric power and indoor lighting. Fascinating house. Park in the garden car park and catch the shuttle bus around the site. Enjoy wherever you do go and let us know if you find any more places to visit. Keith.
  13. Van Comfort in Nottinghamshire offer a good range of quality products https://www.vancomfort.co.uk/product-category/category-a-motorhome/external-thermal-screens/ I personally use KANTOP IsoMatten Internal screens which I purchased directly from Germany as Van Comfort did not stock the colour I wanted. Keith.
  14. 👍 Let us know how you get on please...
  15. Absorbtion fridges typically use ammonia and water as the means of extracting heat from within the fridge and over time the ammonia crystallises in the tube above the heater and renders the fridge useless. Unfortunately if this is the case then the fridge requires a complete new heat exchanger 'mechanism' as the crystallised ammonia cannot be reversed. More is explaine on Wiki... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absorption_refrigerator
  16. You normally use a special removal key to remove the barrel, like this... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144611998671?
  17. Found it... https://www.gov.uk/product-safety-alerts-reports-recalls/product-safety-report-russell-hobbs-gas-hobs So where any of these hobs ever fitted to MH's or are they only domestic models? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12482657/Nationwide-safety-alert-amid-fears-gas-hobs-EXPLODE-faulty.html https://gashobsrepair.mktpoint.com/
  18. Have you got a link please or can you post a photo of the letter (with your address, etc covered)?
  19. If it is the Dometic recall then I posted a link back in July but it turned out the recall was actually from 2021!
  20. Hi Brian, I am not having any problems, just jumped to Page 5 of MM and then back to Page 1 and all works ok. I'll move your post to 'Forum support' as this should then get the attention of the mods. Keith.
  21. Or a CL to the West https://bookings.caravanclub.co.uk/sites?ne_lat=50.87102120678558&ne_lng=-0.5661371894531286&sw_lat=50.71976441338724&sw_lng=-0.8380488105468786&zoomLevel=12&types=1&types=2&types=3&showResults=true&activePin=006b5ad8-d1c8-4387-9ac0-848438f3908f&searchBy=campsite&campsiteId=006b5ad8-d1c8-4387-9ac0-848438f3908f&eventType=2
  22. There is a C&MC site on the Northern edge of Bognor https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-sites/england/south-east-england/west-sussex/rowan-park-club-campsite/
  23. The voltage fluctuating between around 12 Volts to over 14 Volts implies to me that you have a 'Smart' alternator system in which case that is why your MH has been fitted with a DC-DC charger to try and 'force' the leisure battery to charge. I still think you may have some kind of fault such as a bad ground as mentioned by OneCal above.
