The loss of his brother in the Bali terror attacks in 2002 may haunt him but "good job" say I in facing what was no doubt a harrowing experience today. He seems to be a man to be trusted to keep his cool in a situation that is very distressing not just for him, his officers and their families, but for all those affected. I think the general opinion of most EU workers is that they feel less welcome and some indeed have been abused and feel less safe. The issue as I said before is that qualified Doctors and Nurses can probably pick and choose where they work. If they dont need to or want to stay in a country that they feel unwelcome in or indeed uncertain of how they stand then of course they will look elsewhere. Its happening in Agriculture as well. Seasonal workers or not wanting to come back this year apparently. So those it seems that wanted shot of immigrants may well get their wish but unfortunately the ones they are chasing away are the ones we really do need. However I consider your posturing over the semantics of a post given the events of this afternoon to be despicable. I would suspect you know very well where Anthony is coming from in his decrying those who profess to slaughter innocents in the name of Allah and looking at the attacker lying on the stretcher where everything in his appearance says 'Muslim'....a stereotype yes but that is essentially the 'uniform' of the 'believers' so one can only draw ones own conclusions.
