Violet1956 Posted October 5, 2018 Share Posted October 5, 2018 I think it right that people have concerns about the way in which Tommy Robinson was dealt with in relation to the contempt proceedings and I can understand the concerns expressed by the people in the video link. Clearly the Court of Appeal agrees with them. They ruled that the contempt proceedings were not fair, the written order committing him to prison was in the wrong format which meant that he was denied the privileges that he should have had as someone committed to prison for contempt. I know he has further complaints about his treatment when in prison and his transfer and there may be avenues open him to seek compensation for the mishandling of his confinement. He is being afforded the appropriate redress under the law against these possible injustices. I just wish that he would show more respect for the law under which his rights are being considered and protected because it is a matter of record that he has not done so in the past. A couple of members made me aware of how easy it was to find my address so I removed it after you'd looked and found where I live ... If as you say you posted your business details on an open public forum, that's your choice, just as you use Huddersfield rather than West Yorks. You know ...
