I haven't got time to search them myself as I've been out enjoying all the extra free facilities we get in Scotland, paid for by the Mad Hatter's taxes ;-) as compensation for putting up with his BoJo Government :D

So if you do get a referendum and you get Independence who will subsidize you then? >:-) .........

He's enjoying the free facilities. That means he has either started a University Course or has attended a Venereal Clinic. :D

Not just the Clap Clinics all the NHS fees are cheaper like dentists etc, free parking at the hospitals (and everywhere else) etc etc :D

BoJo keeps sending us your money, Winner :D

Won't need subsidies as we won't have BoJo's Bum Brexit Deal crashing our economy, and will have the benefit of full EU Membership :-D

Good luck with joining the EU ... https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1118830/UK-news-Scotland-independence-vote-Nicola-Sturgeon-SNP-EU-European-Commission-latest

When all the NHS fees are lower here (thanks to BoJo giving us your money to buy our votes) its strange you have only noticed the ones at the Venereal Clinics :-S

It ought to concentrate some minds in London as, judging by the exchange rate, the markets are in no doubt who will come off worst :-S

Showing your ignorance there, very bad if you are an investor. It is normal for Markets to rise overnight on good news and then ease back slowly. You should have known that.

FTSE at over 7500, European Markets in the red. You need to read your own links before posting them. :D

Yes, and if you read posts before commenting on them you might realise thats what I said *-)

I have little in Europe due to Brexit, so I don't really follow it.

As I posted on here years ago, I followed the advice WarrenBuffet gave to his wife to invest 90% in the S&P 500 https://markets.ft.com/data/etfs/tearsheet/summary?s=CSP1:LSE:GBX and haven't regretted it :-D

Is that why the pound fell against the Euro as soon as the referendum result was announced *-)

What was the excuse why the pound was at or lower than it is now in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014? ;-) ..........

How many more times do you have to be told the obvious fact that if you want to compare the effect of the Brexit vote on the pound, you need to compare it with a currency unaffected by Brexit. Obviously not the Euro

Er, banks?

Indeed

And places like Sunderland bore the brunt of Tory Austerity for bailing out the bankers, so I suppose it was inevitable they were going to do the opposite of what D .Cameron & G.Osborne told them to do.

As for BoJo making financial sense, traditional donations from FTSE 100 companies to the Tory party seem to have all but dried up? Now BoJo's support comes from hedge funds in Her Majesty's Tax Havens :-S Wonder why that makes financial sense to them *-)

A sensible comparison would be the US Dollar - which the pound has FALLEN against since BoJo 'Won' the election on a minority of the vote.

Which means my $ denominated ETFs hit a new record high and Scotland is set to receive even more of YOUR money for putting up with BoJo. I would not dare to brag about it - I've seen how quickly fortunes can change, but just trying to find out by what Mad Hatter logic you are calling me personally the LOSER at this time. Was it just because my conscience wouldn't let me vote for BoJo even if it benefits me personally?

So news of Bet365 boss Denise Coates £323 million pay package has been released a month late.

Coincidentally after the election *-)

... makes financial sense for some *-)

Why should I care, not one penny of that came out of my pocket.

She lives at a farm not far from me but they keep a low profile. Apart from the gambling business, locally they own Stoke City FC but afaik are rarely seen there. Each to their own but making vast amounts of money from something which can, and has, driven some into horrendous debt, wouldn't sit easy with me.

Their HQ is an ugly soulless slab of grey block where the drones arrive daily.
