Barryd999 Posted January 8, 2020 Share Posted January 8, 2020 I heard on the news at Lunchtime that the plane was new and had just been serviced but just disappeared off the radar like it was something really catastrophic. Coincidence? Sounds as if the whole thing might just calm down. At the moment it seems the Iranians have had a bit of a token gesture retaliation and someone has reigned Trump in a bit so perhaps I might put off spaffing me pension on a new Aston and a few cases of Krug, see what develops. Coincidence? Too early to speculate but talking of 'servicing', remember how the AirFrance Concorde was brought down? A poorly maintained DC 10 which had taken off before it, dropping a metal strip on the runway which Concorde picked up and severed one of the fuel lines.
