Until you show me all restaurant and hospitality employees from the EU are still working here and never left the UK then you'd have a point......but you cannot show that as media reports have already shown the absolute opposite. Other posters besides myself linked numerous examples from professionals in the industry backing this up.

How can I show you that.

If you are right then you should easily be able to show that. Myself and other fm's have shown you're wrong with the overwhelming evidence posted with some links showing EU employees were leaving the hospitality industries as far back as after the referendum.

This is Project Reality you're waking up to now......it's what you voted for. Own it.

Cool ... Your carrying on ... Those links you have provided, none of them, not any show that ALL EU hospitality staff have gone back to the EU like you claimed or have I missed that?

Yes you missed it. I took the thread title. where have all the waiters gone?" from your Daily Wail no less (see link).

Now.......as I said before if you have links proving the absolute opposite, post them up.

So you were duped by The Daily Mail ...

No.....unlike you I look at other media and the evidence is overwhelming.

Ill translate ... None of your links claim what you originally claimed that ALL EU workers have gone back to the EU as its a lie, a hate filled whopper and simply untrue ... I also note you have failed once again to answer just who is currently serving those drinks in our pubs and restaurants since lockdown was lifted ... You famously claimed all EU workers have gone and Brits wont work for low pay so theres no-one to pull that great British pint, so for the fifth time who the heck is serving all those drinks up and down Blighty??? ... My missus is out for bottomless brunch on Saturday so I will be able to update on those lies of yours ... Chuckle ... BTW if as you claim all EU types have gone back home then surely all those Italian, Greek, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese etc etc eateries are all boarded up, shut and never to re-open as you claim those EU types will "never" return I presume??? ... Lies cause all kinds of problems dont they

You on the other hand have read all those links and obviously none of em say what you claim in your lying first post that ALL those EU types have gone home otherwise you'd have wet yaself again and posted the quotes up ... Any update on answers to my other questions regarding your lying???

You obviously read the bit about how many EU nationals have applied to stay here in Blighty then, a country "which made them unwelcome" in your lying original post ... You had time to think about those other answers to your fairytales???

You obviously read the bit about how many EU nationals have applied to stay here in Blighty then.

The linked reports concerned EU employees who left the country and are not returning hence the hospitality industry is now facing an acute shortage of staff. Anyone applying to settle in UK would have had to be resident here for a minimum five years.

Any adult with an ounce of sense knew when you started this hate thread months ago that Brexit contributed to the hospitality staffing problems ... They also knew that other issues came into hospitality staff shortages like a liccle thing called Covid and British hospitality businesses enjoying a staycation boom ... Take off the Brexit hate goggles ... I think its the seventh time I have asked, if your claim is true and all EU types have gone home and Brits wont work for low pay and theres no-one to pull that great British pint just who exactly is pulling those pints now in thousands of pubs and restaurants here in Blighty??? ... Chuckle ... The desperate lying continues ... I dont believe on this lying hate thread of yours I have ever said Brexit isnt a factor or attempted to deflect anything ... Quite the opposite if you look back princess ... Talking of desperately deflecting have you come up with an answer yet to whose serving all that lovely booze in our boozers and restaurants??? ... Hubby was out yesterday for meal and drinks ... I made her a few sandwiches and left them out with a glass of fizzy lemonade for when she got back as apparently theres no staff in our pubs and restaurants ... Turns out once again I needn't have worried as all the places they went had staff ... We are away to Cornwall for 5 or 6 days at the end of the week so any info on any places still open to eat and drink would be good

Mother in Law went out for Sunday lunch yesterday ... Given the info the OP had given us all I decided to make her an easy to eat without teeth banana sandwich as she was obviously going to go hungry with no staff serving food or drinks ... Turns out I needn't have bothered, a beautiful beef Sunday lunch she had ... I cant understand what went wrong

I dont think she did ... She must have dreamt it all ... As your organ Grindr says all the EU staff have gone, ALL of em and our Brit lot wont work for low pay so I cant see that there were any staff in the pub she went to, cant have been ... I have asked your close friend to explain just who's serving the food and drinks but hes gone all quiet other than trying to get Daniels attention as its all got too uncomfortable for him ... Maybe you can help

village tea shop had no applicants for a counter assistant or a town pub unable to get a bar worker.

You can usually see why when you compare housing costs 8-)

with the guaranteed wages on offer *-)

and ask yourself how anyone could afford to move there to take that job. :-S

Well the missus went out for another meal to a town centre restaurant with 6 buddies last night ... They ate and drank and got served by a waiter ... Anyway we will see if those Cornish types have managed to get any staff, given the OPs claim obviously not so I expect all the pubs and restaurants will be boarded up ... Chuckle

Update on the hospitality staff shortages ... In the many years I have been visiting Cornwall I havent ever seen it as busy, smashed out ... Given the OPs warning on staff shortages, well not staff shortages but basically no staff I expected to go very hungry and very thirsty, thankfully of course reality is totally different to the Hollywood guff ... Two pubs shut I must admit ... Both though on the boards outside said it was Covid related, maybe they were lying ... We have a wedding tomorrow, I do hope they've found some staff from somewhere to serve on ... Chuckle ... My full list of safe places to visit is available on request

How did she eat Beef with no teeth?

My mum used to take her teeth out to eat her dinner :D ........

I can see her now........Her teeth resting on one side of the plate..... her fag on the other 8-) .........

But that was only at home ;-) .........

On the rare occaission we ate out she'd put them in her handbag :-> ..........
