Derek Uzzell
The A/B/C classes 'type' designators are meaningful in the USA and - although "A" is employed in the UK to refer to motorhomes with a one-piece body (also known as 'integrated' designs) - "B" or "C" are rarely used. This link does its best to explain UK motorhome 'type' terminology. https://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/advice/equipment/types-of-motorhomes/ In the UK, if one wanted to describe (say in a for-sale advert) the 'type' of the Compass Drifter shown in the photos above, a "coachbuilt motorhome with over-cab bed" would be immediately understood by most people, but "C class motorhome" would not.
