All this has been explained to you in the thread but you seem unable to comprehend it. I never said that anyone was drunk. I said that after a hard day's driving many people have a good meal and a glass of wine or two. This means that they sleep soundly. They wake up to find that they've been robbed and, being a bit thick and believing in this gassing nonsense they, can easily convince themselves that they feel a bit 'muggy'. Or they are embarrassed because they feel silly for parking in a dangerous place and possibly not having good security and they have an insurance claim in mind. But all this is irrelevant nonsense. What is important here is the impossibility of injecting the right amount of narcotic gas into a camper without killing someone. Enough for a large man will kill a child. And of course the other big question - why do thieves with these so-called expert and sophisticated systems target caravanners? Time and time again all this has been explained to you. Time and time again experts and now the police have examined the evidence and said that it's impossible. But you ignore the evidence. You ignore the common-sense arguments and the practicalities of a successful gassing and you ignore the fact that such sophisticated thieves would choose a more lucrative sector in which to operate. You do all this because: You are a fool. You are clearly stupid. You are egotistical and cannot bear to be wrong, so on and on and on you go continually dredging up argument that has been discounted many times over. As I said, debating with you is like when I'd argue with my daughter, when she was five. As has been implied by many in this thread, you're in your own little fairy land where the normal rules of logic and intelligence simply don't apply. You really do need to step back and examine your contributions to this thread. You should also be very worried about your mental health. You have a problem that's way beyond being unintelligent. I do how ever have an open mind on the subject..........unlike the majority on here................who appear to have taken the email/letter from the RCoA as an arrival from Mount Sinai *-).......... Curiously I have this vision of Brian standing in his camper door waving the letter, Neville Chamberlain like :D................and we all know how much that was worth :-|.................and what does this much vaunted evidence consist of?............the opinion of some bloke who has probably never been in side a camper or truck............but if it makes people happy I actually agree with the RCoA in respect that anesthetic gas was unlikely to have been used ;-)........... But unlike the majority on here....... until I get actual proof that some kind of incapacitant is NOT being used...........then I'll keep an open mind ;-)............... " Final word on this from me. The onus of proof is not on the majority to prove it isn't possible but on the claimed victims of gassing to prove it did happen. Find me one officially corroborated report of a gas attack where the alleged victim sought medical attention immediately afterwards and it was confirmed medically that they had been subjected to a narcotic gas attack. This has to be an officially corroborated report and medical evidence shown or it simply is another bit of anecdotal "evidence". If you can find and supply such a report and give chapter andversee on who, when, where, what exact narcotic used etc then I will happily concede that it is possible. Until you can provide such hard factual evidence I believe it is a myth perpetuated by weak journalism and "victims" who can't face the truth. D. Many years ago my mate and I spray painted our racing outfit in an enclosed double garage we only used 2 cans of spray then left to socialise we got in the van Keith drove backwards straight into his fathers car now Keith was normally a superb driver he steered the outfit and I played the monkey on the side we were obviously overcome by the fumes from the spray cans and were unknowingly incapacitated so a small volume of sprayed thinners is capable of rendering you comatose in a confined space. Billggski Posted July 19, 2014 Share Posted July 19, 2014 A contributor on another (inferior) motorhome forum now states unequivocally that a quick spray of easy start will anaesthetise anyone, including dogs, instantly allowing one to be robbed whilst asleep! The clue is white deposit around your mouth when you wake up. I know the gasophiles are a loony bunch, but this is one urban myth too far. I think crop circles are a message to aliens of where motorhomers with any goods worth stealing ( there are some) have left a window open to be attacked at night. But no one will listen to me. We met up with some old friends back a couple of years ago, who had claimed they had been gassed and robbed a year prior to this meet up. We knew this couple and their habits etc and got into quizzng them regarding this gassing etc. In the end it transpired they had been knackered from travelling, had a couple of glasses etc and fell asleep to wake up and find they had been robbed. They had done the stupid thing, left all their valuables on show, doors had not been properly locked etc. So to recoup their loss it was reported as a gassing.
