leads me to suspect that there really isn't a smoking gun, .

In which case why is Cummings snubbing our questions?

FFS he is supposed to be working for us

Why are you still flailing around trying to defend him when he won't even give you the basic courtesy of an explanation?

You try to say its just me when apparently even the C of E can't work with the Government now

This has got to be a first?

Because BoJo has given such unambiguous support to Dominic Cummins, I think he has sealed his own fate if a "smoking gun" piece of evidence emerges - but so far that has not happened.

Cummins decision to take himself and his family to a seperate, self-contained property in Durham (even if it was part of his parents' estate) is defensible - or at least it's not a smoking gun. Maybe the Barnards Castle isn't a smoking gun either, if it was after the necessary period of self -isolation - but maybe it was Certainly the press and Labour are not letting go and maybe damning evidence will emerge - but it could also emerge that the retired chemistry teacher with a photographic memory is a Labour activist or supporter with a vivid imagination. BoJo said he had a long discussion with Cummins on Sunday so he should have asked all the relevant searching questions, even if he is deciding that he has no need to share all the answers with us.

Oh I think its a smoking Cannon! Even if its after the period of self isolation which he totally broke anyway it was during lock down where driving 30 miles to a tourist hot spot for a day out was a crime and for Johnsons right hand man to have done it having already broken all his own lock down rules is a big fat smoking Bazooka!

Face it. Cummings has with any luck brought Johnson down. Maybe it was deliberate. Cummings is a Disruptor. I dont think he is even a Tory. Maybe he had enough of them and decided to bring the whole house of cards crashing down just for a laugh.

Its perfectly simple though. If the retired teacher has proof he searched the number plate of that car then lets see the internet history and trace the vehicle. He is clever but maybe he slipped up and used his own car or one of his families.

England has more cctv per head of population than any other country in the world.

The average citizen is on cctv over 200 times a day.

Then there are mobile phone records, ANPR cameras, card payments that lead to cctv in supermarkets,

The evidence will be in the Government's possession (so Cummings daren't deny anything) but the Government is hiding it >:-)

I suppose our only chance is if one of Cummings many enemies leaks it

Which I suspect he is busy trying to prevent.

The longer this goes on, the more chance he has to destroy evidence, intimidate witnesses, and sack civil servants who are not 'on message'

Cummings is a Disruptor. I dont think he is even a Tory.

.

Well I seem to recall that on Wiki he says he's not a Tory.

I just wonder why Boris Johnson is so dependent on him. If he can't cope without Cummings maybe he should make room for someone who can ?

;-)

BoJo clearly needs an enforcer to do his dirty work so he can maintain his likeable facade to con the easily fooled.

I can't imagine BoJo sacking a conscientious Civil Servant, and arranging to have her ejected from the building in the most humiliating way like Cummings did.

'Career Psychopath' Cummings fits the bill perfectly - he doesn't need our votes and doesn't care what we think

But also I think BoJo is a coward. He avoids direct confrontation. He didn't help his friend Darius Guppy in beating up the Journalist, but he didn't have the courage to say no to him.

So BoJo needs to hide behind Cummings too.

Any news that the Tory press have dug out the Labour activist dirt on the retired teacher of Barnard Castle yet? He has now made a retrospective complaint to the police according to one of the left wing papers. Not difficult to guess who put him up to that.

It ain’t over ‘till the fat lady sings as they say - or in this case the scrawny looking strategist and spin doctor sings.

Can you enlighten us?

Apparently he wasn't certain before because it would have seemed unlikely to be the real Dominic Cummings. Poor chap probably didn't believe his eyes. What he has found out since then seems to confirm his suspicions. So it seems logical to me that alone would cause him to take it further. Whatever anyone else said.

Ali ... MP ... Breaks the lockdown rules ... Silence from the squad

Kinnock ... MP ... Breaks the lockdown rules ... Silence from the squad

Cummings ... GOVERNMENT AIDE ... Breaks the lockdown rules ... Hissy fit pant wetting hysteria from the squad

Anyone explain why ???

Did any of them travel 260 miles with Covid Symptoms?

Well for a start the unelected Cummings has got more power than them.

'Career Psychopath' Cummings can sack Civil Servants, seize their phones, and get them escorted out of the building in a humiliating way.

He is BoJo's Enforcer who lays down the law for us and ignores it himself, risking our lives in the process. >:-)

Why are you trying to defend him?

They broke the rules like he did , dont be so selective with your hate ... Can you please show where or how Mr Cummings has been our PMs "Enforcer" ... I presume "BoJo" is our PM ???

Your known for your amateur dramatics and Hollywood claims like "No deal is dead" and who can forget your "Labour will be in power before Brexit" but youve all Judy Garland with that , as in 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' ... I fear that would be mission impossible given your track record but I can tell you that the story about the teacher complaining to the police was in the newspaper review this morning on either the Sky News or BBC News App. Daily Mirror if I remember correctly.

You should do less talking and more listening

Why won't you at least read the links.

The D&C Police said the lads in the motorHOME were not breaking the law because they had been in it since the lockdown started.

Government instructions were to stay in the home where you were, whether it was second home or not.

So BoJo, Duke of Cornwall, and Dominic Cummings were breaking their own laws when they moved to another home AFTER THE LOCKDOWN STARTED.

They put themselves above the law they were instructing us to obey, ordering the police to fine us if we didn't, - and all made far worse because they were knowingly taking the virus with them >:-)

PS: So I think this is your cue to change the subject to 'public bins' *-)

John52 is driven by his prejudiced attitudes and he cannot get his head around anything anyone else says at all unless it happens to fit his blinkered view of reality, so there really is litttle point in responding to him.

To those who are capable of thinking there might be other ways of looking at things however it seems to me that BoJo is far to experienced a politician (and journalist) to stick his neck out unnecessarily and this is what leads me to suspect that there really isn't a smoking gun, so the press are end up getting nowhere with this. It might be of course that Cummins knows where some bodies are which would be an even bigger threat to Boris but that doesn't seem likely somehow. My bet is on Boris and Cummins having got their heads together and worked out that this is a storm in a teacup which they can confidently ride out. We'll see.

Indeed ;-) ............

Boris has 4 years to ride it out B-) ...........

Give up with the excuses - no one supports your antics - not even Barry or Bullet it seems....

Your actions are no different, and in some respects they're worse - as well you know, and I find that just a tad hypocritical.

And that's without going into your neanderthal sanitary arrangements.......

I've come to the conclusion that two words sum up your mental capacity, thought process and logic to everything - Plumbers Mait :-D :-D

Something else you go on, and on,and on, and on about at every opportunity - when no sane person would ever think about using Plumbers Mait on a campervan, or in fact anything other than sanitary ware!!!!

You're so obsessed with being right - even if it actually makes you look a fool.......but you're so blinkered you can't see it.

Correct Malc (though i haven't read/heard of any church leaders), there have been a number of Tory MP's, scientists who have condemned the actions of Cummings and Johnson, even an NHS doctor has threatened to quit. Sir Roger Gale MP was extremely vocal about the matter on a tv programme this morning and didn't mince his words. Johnson has made a rod for his own back.
