antony1969
Seems those nice peace loving anti-Trump lot aren't so nice themselves after all ... Demonstrators at Portland Airport knocked out a fella from The Bible Believers Group and then shouted " Whooo hunt the Nazis" and "Thats right Nazi boy wheres your f..king fuhrer now bitch" ... Real attacks , not internet threats ... Whats happening to the world ??? ... Another case of an American student in Londons East End attacked by a Sharia law patrol known to patrol the area for the terrible crime of drinking a beer out in public ... Barryd999
I lifted this of Fruitcakes. The Governor of Washington has really laid into Trump. Its worth watching. Not only is what he has done constitutionally and morally wrong its just caused Chaos at the airports which to me just enforces what I thought about him and his government. They might talk the talk and throw their weight around but clearly they have no consideration or the intelligence to realise what kind of global effect and the effect it will have on their own country and citizens. https://youtu.be/238GK7YwI6w

They might talk the talk and throw their weight around but clearly they have no consideration or the intelligence to realise what kind of global effect and the effect it will have on their own country and citizens. Now America just needs a few more like him to have the guts to do the same. I watched the protests at airports in US and here in London on the news earlier Barry. Tens of thousands gathered. This is not going to go away. I think the US could be in for the shortest ever Presidency in history. He's walking a very fine line toward impeachment which for me is the preferable option. Assassination which is very real would not be good as that would give his fanatical zealots opportunity to martyr him and i don't want that. In the closing days of the campaign Trump and his thugs threatened impeachment against Hillary Clinton if she won. In other words, if Clinton had won she wouldn't be able to govern because *we* won't let her! Well it's come back to haunt him now as a campaign to have him impeached has already started. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/01/20/the-campaign-to-impeach-president-trump-has-begun/?utm_term=.8227cace0069 And here is another involving the 25th Amendment for an impaired president to be removed from office by a two-thirds vote of Congress. "Given the sheer danger to the Republic as well as to the Republicans, Trump’s impeachment will happen. The only question is how grave a catastrophe America faces first." http://prospect.org/article/impeachment-or-impairment-inevitability-trump%E2%80%99s-removal

First of all I don't understand how an American AG would be different from our own AG. She was going anyway as she was the Acting AG and would not be able to influence whether her staff defended cases in the courts at the time the cases are likely to be under consideration. Our AG would have to defend a government policy even if they didn't agree with it, that's their job. They could resign if their conscience meant they were averse to it but they would never countermand an order given by the elected government and expect to stay in post. The madness continues.... Her actions appear to be motivated by political considerations. If she felt she could not require her staff to defend the executive order she should simply resign. She should not assume she has the power to demand her staff do not follow it. If she had resigned I would respect her for it. My OH is even more cynical than I am in that he wonders whether her severance pay is decided on how she exits. Veronica

Röhm had been Hitlers most ardent and life long supporter (watch your back Trumpy boy....Bannon is a thug and more clever than you). The final death toll was said to be in the hundreds with over a thousand arrested. 77 known to have been executed for "treason" (disgreeing with Hitler) though historians believe the figure to be higher. http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/nazi-germany/the-night-of-the-long-knives/ Plenty more followed though possibly the most famous being Claus von Stauffenberg and the failed bomb plot assassination at Hitlers Bunker base, Wolfschanze commonly known as Wolfs Lair, at Gierloz north east Poland. I visited the place a few years ago and it is really evil and spooky, surrounded by lots of forest and swamp land. Stauffenbergs big mistake was not having a complete exit plan in place had it been successful (sound familiar? ;-) ) and was a disaster. Many other high ranking officers were involved in the plot. By the time Stauffenberg got back to Berlin, Hitler already knew who'd attempted to kill him and the purge was set in motion. http://www.thirdreichruins.com/wolfschanze.htm
